All I want is to be loved by someone, anyone.

She wakes to the sound of His horrid every breath.
Last night was her wedding.
At twelve she should be with the little girls at school
But now she’s destined for cruelty.
And with tears in her eyes her little heart sighs and she pleads,

"All I want is to be loved by someone, anyone."

Not far form this girl an older man alone
Is singing the same tune.
After twenty two years, three kids of their own,
She’s not coming back anytime soon.
And broken down with a wailing heart he begins to cry,

And I’m not ashamed to admit that I am the same.
